‘Seagulls’, they are hated by many, but for me they are the sound of home. I was born and grew up in Brighton; the sea, seagulls, and the Palace Pier ( not the Brighton Pier) are part of me and my memories. On a recent trip back to Brighton, I had a chance to visit the Palace Pier.
